Warranty
We are pleased to offer a comprehensive warranty on all watches we sell and service. Our warranty combines elements from proven industry standards and specific needs of our customers to provide you with the best possible service experience.
Please note that we cannot guarantee water resistance on vintage watches (according to our definition, watches that are older than 20 years).
1. Scope of the guarantee
Our warranty covers all watches that have either been purchased from us or serviced or repaired by us ("Warranted Watch"). Excluded are limited editions made in collaboration with us, which are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer's warranty is usually 12-24 months, depending on the brand.
2. Warranty period
The warranty period for watches purchased in store or online begins from the date of purchase indicated on the sales receipt.
For serviced or repaired watches, the warranty period begins from the date of completed service, as indicated in the relevant service certificate.
The warranty period is twenty-four (24) months from the stated start date. The warranty is one-time and begins from the date stated on the sales receipt or service certificate. The warranty cannot be extended or renewed by making a claim.
3. Expert assessment and guarantee
Every watch eligible for a guarantee is first carefully inspected by our experts. Based on this assessment, we offer a comprehensive guarantee that includes the following services:
Repair and replacement: If a defect occurs during the warranty period and is assessed and recognized by our experts, we will repair the watch or replace damaged parts free of charge.
Quality Control: Every watch submitted for repair or service goes through rigorous quality control to ensure that all work meets our high standards.
Warranty for inspected parts: The warranty only covers the parts of the watch that have been inspected and serviced by us. Parts that have not been inspected or serviced by us are excluded from the warranty.
4. Exclusions of warranty
Our warranty does not cover damage or defects caused by the following circumstances:
- Improper handling, misuse, neglect or negligence by third parties
- External influences such as fire, chemicals or accidents
- Water damage
- Damage caused by shock
- Normal wear and tear such as scratches, cracks or dents
- Modifications, repairs or services by third parties not authorized by us
In addition, the warranty does not cover consumables such as batteries or regular cleaning and maintenance of the watch.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the rights and remedies contained in this warranty are in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising in connection with a warranted watch. Our maximum liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the watch in accordance with the terms of the warranty.
6. Claiming the guarantee
To claim the guarantee, you must send an email to service@watchcircle.de Please include all relevant personal information, a detailed description of the defects and a copy of the sales receipt or service certificate in this email. After receiving and checking the information, we will inform you about the next steps. If the warranty claim is accepted, we ask you to send the defective watch to our service center for assessment and repair. We would like to point out that spare parts will only be installed with your written consent.
7. Data protection
We may require your personal information to register your warranty-eligible watch and process warranty claims. This information will only be used to contact you and carry out warranty or repair services and is subject to our privacy policy.
8. Shipping costs and risks
In the event of a warranty claim, you will bear the costs and risks of sending the watch to our service center. We will bear the costs and risks of returning the repaired watch to you.
9. Changes to the warranty conditions
We reserve the right to change or update the warranty conditions at any time. The latest version can be found on our website.
10. Customer declaration
By using our warranty, you agree to the above terms and conditions. Our warranty is personal and non-transferable. All services may be provided by third parties at our discretion.
